Medicines
Some chromium supplements contain yeast, which can interfere with certain prescription medicines. Check with your GP or Boots pharmacist before taking a supplement containing chromium.
Medical conditions
If you have diabetes, only take a chromium supplement under your GP’s supervision. Chromium supplements are not suitable for pregnant or breast-feeding women, or for people with epilepsy.
Supplements
Chromium is contained in products in the following forms:
- tablet
- capsule.
Always follow the instructions on the pack carefully. If you are in any doubt, ask your Boots pharmacist for advice.
