If a blister becomes infected or develops a swollen, inflamed or very sensitive area around it, see your Boots pharmacist or GP for advice on how best to treat it. You should also show your GP any blisters that appear for no obvious reason.
If you have diabetes, you may have difficulty feeling sensation in your feet or lower legs, so inspect these areas regularly and if you notice blisters or other skin damage, contact your GP for advice.
