Bedwetting - How common is it?
Bedwetting is very common, especially in young children.
Up to 1 in 5 children aged 5 still wear nappies at night.[1] But fewer children wet their bed as they get older. Here's how many children wet the bed at different ages:[1]
| Age of child (years) | Number of children in a 100 who wet the bed |
|---|---|
| 5 | 15 to 20 |
| 7 | 7 |
| 10 | 5 |
| 12 to 14 | 2 to 3 |
| 15 and over | 1 to 2 |
